Grabbing a haircut at the local barbers. Guy before me comes to the end of haircut - & then decides he wants a fucking shave. My loathing of his lazy arse may well cause the establishment to burst into flames. Shave. At. Home. You. Lazy. Twat. (And no, he’s not elderly/impaired.)

A very good and dear friend asked me this week whether Thunderbirds is supposed to be funny. Like - a comedy programme. Shaken me to my core and made me fear for our friendship. I mean, come on! youtu.be/huPB3T0v_uQ?si… #ThunderbirdsAreGo

That moment when TFL advises minor delays on the Piccadilly Line and you get to the station to find the next train into Central London is 16 minutes. That word ‘minor’ …

“Can you turn off my VPN?” while balancing the laptop on top of the kitchen worktop by the sink because once AGAIN the laptop has been allowed to run down and somehow acknowledging that sitting at the desk set aside for WFH would be the best place to address this is problematic?!

Torn by irony on the train now. Child watching videos without using headphones. The adult next to him has a pair of headphones around his neck. But the videos the child are watching are lessons in how to behave when faced with conflict, and make frequent Christian references. 🤷🏼‍♂️

How is this OK? Assuring me that tickets I bought weeks ago will definitely certainly be available a couple of hours before the event is assuming that a lot of processes will work at peak efficiency. Just send them out the day before (at the latest) and quell anxiety eventim_uk

You know when it’s not a good idea to ponder the unknowable depths of death, eternal unfathomable void? Going to bed. During the day, I take some solace from death being like before birth - no knowledge, no awareness. But at night, that’s just not so easy a reconciliation, is it?

My goodness. One thing for which this website is very useful is demonstrating just how many older people (often celebrities it seems) drift further & further to the right, often with a dash of conspiratorial rhetoric as well. Thought - hoped - it was a cliché. But it appears not.

Just read the articles regarding Benedict Blythe. I normally just come here for shits & giggles (& despair) but every school I've ever worked at has spoken at length (at times even banged on about) allergies & epipens etc. That this still happened is just bloody dreadful.

Tell you who I’m not enjoying at the moment. Those delightful people who, upon parking their Lime bike, fuck it up for the next rider. Kicked off pedals, trashed saddles, cut/ripped tyres/tubes… special types of arseholes.

Having been utterly unsuccessful with both Oasis & Coldplay, it was with a real sense of resignation I read the ticket rejection email. But then a beacon - the Mrs got the ‘Congratulations’ email. So - there’s a chance. (Struggling to understand the whinging.) #Radiohead

Any Ealing or environs dwellers - surely it’s time for Questors Theatre to run comedy nights? With reasonably big names? Why can The Beck Theatre and Bush Theatre and Soho Theatre and The Tabard etc. have these events and Questors just … doesn’t?! Can’t be daft snobbery, surely?
