It's #AlchoholAwarenessWeek ! Reset is a fantastic service in Tower Hamlets for anyone worried about or struggling with their alcohol use. It's great to be mindful of your alcohol consumption and ask for a helping hand if you feel things are getting out of control.

Today is #BlueMonday, supposedly the most depressing day of the year. If you're feeling down we encourage you to talk to someone about it. If it's not just those January Blues, speak to your doctor or contact a local mental health charity for more information on your options <3

What cheers us up this #BlueMonday? Chatting with friends, music, pub trips, getting involved with the community. Today we're reviewing all the fun we had in 2018 and the exciting possibilities 2019 brings.

This week we had our last Green Candle Dance Workshop. Residents had so much fun doing both seated and standing exercises. We will definitely be keeping it up!

Chinese and Chips is how we say Happy Chinese New Year at Sue Starkey House! We made hand fans, played Chinese themed games, had Chips and Curry and learnt Chinese New year phrases such as 'Gong Xi Fa Cai' which means 'Wishing you a prosperous/wealthy New Year!'
