TEEs are the pragmatic choice for L2 scaling. ZK proofs need time; OP proofs need speed; TEEs need neither. TEEs combined with ZK and OP as cryptographic fallbacks creates a multi-proof system that isn't a compromise, but a much-needed upgrade.
