You could be in the largest venue in the world, so much space for all your bullshit gear, and the venue staff will still come up to you the moment your set is done and say “hey man not a lot of space in here tonight, gonna need you to run everything outside into the piss alley”

I love when there’s a 45+ Midwest guy at the show because there’s a 99% chance he’s buying me a beer after the set and saying “You guys were awesome. I’m also from the midwest.” and then we have the dopest small talk for 5-10 minutes. The best part is that’ll be me in 20 years.
