Target is offering teachers 15% off for supplies for their classrooms. I’m curious. Do doctors pay for their own supplies? Dentists? Lawyers? The audacity of the ad is what bothered me. It is assumed we will purchase supplies because it’s what we’ve always done for our students.

I will repeat this forever. Make yourself an email folder called "Praise." Save ALL the emails people send you complimenting your work, big and small. On the days when it's just really hard and you feel like nothing is going right - that folder will bring you joy!

I have come to truly love shows where the writers are part of the cast and have a clear plan ahead of time. Not only does #TedLasso S2 Ep 1 & 12 both start with the same close-up of Nate’s eyes but both have echoes of the same conversation. I love a show that rewards rewatching!

Every time I worry that I am behind with my grading I remember my 3rd grade teacher who passed back something like 5 months of graded assignments in ONE day. It look almost an hour. 😆
