On 8/10/24, the Santa Catalina RD is hosting Smokey Bear’s 80th birthday at the Sabino Canyon Visitor Center! Meet Smokey Bear, see a fire engine, listen to the Story of Smokey, and enjoy games and activities for the whole family. The visitor center is open from 8am to 5pm

Visitors are asked to please avoid Columbine Corrals as crews will use this campground as a basecamp from Tuesday, August 20th through Tuesday, August 27th. All spots will be utilized, and the campground will be full while they build erosion abatement structures.
