Having your Shopify app copied by another app developer is a badge of honour. This just happened to Marius 🇺🇦 coders.fail and me with our Vendor Details app coders.fail 🚀 Build stuff!. How do you guys deal with this? Adjust pricing? Create more standout features? #buildinpublic apps.shopify.com/vendor-details…

We are revisiting workers.shop, our Cloudflare Developers Workers marketplace to sell & distribute as well as search & buy Workers. Before writing our next line of code, we are checking in with the community and are validating the need for such a store. #buildinpublic

In preparations to Shopify's >_ EDITIONS.DEV conference in Toronto at the end of June, I started putting together a list of all attendees I come across on Twitter: x.com/i/lists/179729… If you are a Shopify Development and attending, let me know to add you. #shopify

To keep myself and friends organized, I collected all official, unofficial and informal events happening at and around Shopify's >_ EDITIONS.DEV. They are on the list of events that someone of coders.fail 🚀 Build stuff! is attending tagged #Shopify

#Shopify partners helping other partners and supporting their business feels very wholesome and I look forward to meeting more folks like these at editions.dev. Working is more fun if you do it together and share lessons learned and new insights.

With the ticket numbers at around 1600+, getting the list of attendees only from the Twitter bubble to 50+ seems to be a good ratio :) x.com/i/lists/179729…

Adding all speakers announced by Shopify Developers got the attendees list near 100. And that's just people who have Twitter and use it enough for me to find them. Gonna be fun. I hope everyone meets digitally again. For example, in the Slack Partner community x.com/i/lists/179729…

Having never been to a #Shopify Unite event, missing out even on the digital ones because of other work, I was sad to see the event series stop. Mat De Sousa's Wide events gave me the start to see the community IRL. Editions and Pre/ditions is a great continuation with these topics.

The "Textarea Cache" extension is so old, still works with minimal maintenance, the dev is responsive if you have questions, and it works as advertised. How this has not become a native browser feature, is beyond me. github.com/wildskyf/Texta…

Already set up the Mantle Discord integration, so we have our notification right in our community and our free chat software. It makes it easier to start out when you are not willing to pay for Slack yet. Thanks for the community service 🙏

Because of these arguments we are migrating all our apps to Gadget. We just need to add the stores and API tokens to Gadgets DB and run a resync, as we don't store merchant data in our DB. I'm thanking our past selfs for these smart decisions and foresight. Metaobjects ftw!

This is just comical. During the review of "Testimonials on Metaobjects" we checked the metaobject definitions of the reviewer's store. Next to our app's definitions, we also found the ones from the app that copied our "Vendor Details" app. It was reviewed on the same store 🙈

In honor of Shopify Developers editions.dev and to make it easy to connect with other attendees, Marius 🇺🇦 coders.fail added a new theme to mAI.bio ✨ Socials in, website out! with some playful Aceternity effects. Example: joda.coders.win Not a video, still fun :) Get yours Thanks, Manu Arora 🙏

Thanks for taking the time to prepare the questions and give the attendees a forum to introduce themselves. I'm excited to finally attend an official Shopify Developers event and get to know everyone. To connect with me even before the event try joda.coders.win

We've added highlighted links with text and the personal description to our Shopify theme, based on the editions speaker introduction clips. I'll be carrying around a QR code pointing to my profile to make connecting with people at #editionsdev easier. Grab one yourself for free.

With part-time jobs becoming more sought after and more and more people considering 32h/w full-time we were missing that category on Remote Jobs by @levelsio. So we decided to check, if other people are looking for the same and would use it. #buildinpublic

With @levelsio newest product validation with just a Notion page and a Stripe payment link, he reminded us to keep it simple. So we did the same for our currently project validations. Fancy and pretty can come later. For now it is more than enough. #buildinpublic

Shopify Editions Summer '25 Watch Party on the book :) As myself and many others won't make it to Editions.dev in Toronto this year and still want to hang out and have that sense of community, I'll put on a watch party: lu.ma/rf1adp37 #shopify #fightthefomo
