Rebuild /remould of cob house in rockbeare this week

Fascinating chalk cob renovations last week . 400 year old cottage made nearly entirely of smashed up bits of chalk !! Before and after . It was a challenge to get the mix right to repair it . I had to experiment heavily , lucky i have a chalk / lime quarry round the corner !
