Best sporting event I have ever attended. This game was amazing and had it all. Beyond the fights and payback, the come from behind OT winner scored by McCarty himself, it was the loudest game I’ve been to. This game spurred them on to the Cup that year.

Breaking: Michigan State junior forward Isaac Howard has won the 2025 Hobey Baker Award. Howard finished with 52 points (26 g, 26 a) in 37 games this season. The top award in college hockey is back in East Lansing for the first time 2001 when goaltender Ryan Miller won.
