When ppl say “UK isn’t for everybody,” part of it is definitely bc we get everybody’s best shot. Our tradition of great bball has granted us that gift. The other part is the criticism you get. Warranted or not, it cuts deep and too many ppl go too far sometimes.

We are going against “set defenses” way too often! NOBODY is that good to do that all game and stay efficient.

Yes they’re fouling, but it can’t be what stops us from advancing. Handsy team, spread em out and drive em. It’s hard to guard the ball handler when you’re on an island.

We can get fouls, we’re just not putting the refs in a position to make calls. Letting ISU dictate where we go. You will not get calls that way.

Okay Iowa! While I was an Asst. at Missouri Western, Ben McCollum was the HC at Northwest Missouri St. Same conference (MIAA) & twice a year he’d beat us up. They were D2 national champs 2017, 19, 21 & 22. I’m pretty sure they would’ve won in 2020 but covid. Dude’s a winner.
