This one is from a couple of years ago - making a single pre-angled part where there wasn't enough room to wreath OR mitre the junction. 'innovation' 😉

Continuous black walnut handrails with bright polished cast spindles - a really unique job that brought this curved concrete staircase to life.

Working for a private client last year, we tried something new - avoiding the ceiling line with an S-bend in the handrail and spindles that angled toward the stair. Have you seen anyone do this before?

Oval handrails are by far the most popular choice in the last few years, but we love a challenge and the guys controlled the geometry on this detailed 180 degree wreath perfectly.

There's a lot going on in this picture - closed strings, cut strings, bespoke metal spindles, breathing handrail and posts to work around - but, we're happy with the result and a great way to extend this second floor into a loft area.

We replaced these dated oak spindles and handrail with something special!
