Canadian Natural Gas Utility Workers’ Day is October 10th, a day that marks the anniversary of the final weld on TC Energy’s cross-Canada natural gas mainline infrastructure system completed in 1958. On this day, we commemorate the important role of natural gas utility workers.

We are experiencing issues with the distribution system in our Tap 3 area, which is everything to the west of and including HWY 40. Our staff are out troubleshooting and will be working diligently to ensure any system failures are restored ASAP. We will update you with info ASAP

We are pleased to report that the system distribution issue has been resolved and gas service has been restored. If you have been affected and require assistance with relighting appliances, please contact our office at 403-932-2707 (press 1 for emergency service after hours).

The Government of Canada announced the removal the Federal Fuel Charge. CLGC will not be required to report/pay the charge for all types of fuel, including marketable natural gas consumed after Mar-31-2025, until further notice. This is effective for consumption after Apr-01-2025

CLGC has contracted Gas Recon Inc (a gas leak detection company) to walk all of our gas lines in two areas of our franchise. Beginning this week, they will be walking all the lines in our Tap 9 area. They will then head into our Tap 4 area.
