Très bel ouvrage qui raconte les Vikings (avec majuscule ici) par les traces archéologiques. Les sources littéraires et historiques viennent au secours du propos. Les termes norrois sont présentés et traduits, ce qui permet à l'étudiant d'en apprendre plus sur la langue norroise.
