I estimate the city of Chicago could raise $1,000,000/day if it enforced drivers using the Chicago Ave bus lane as their personal express lane. I made this estimate while getting passed by approx eight dozen cars definitely more important than me. Assholes.

Photographer Hector Vivas has been creating a series at this year's Olympics called "Layers of the Games." The idea is to capture multiple moments from a single Olympic event and then combine them into one image. The results are incredible. (Great work Hector Vivas!)

Sitting in a fancy coffee shop in Pittsburgh and just watched a police-escorted funeral procession drive past. The casket was in a glass container on a carriage being driven by horses (!!) New death wish.

Here’s the time-lapse I promised you from yesterday’s solar activity. Complete with Earth to scale and a bonus of the sun’s rotation. This is easily one of my cleanest time-lapses I’ve managed over such a long period. Enjoy!
