The face of a #Roman woman in the 2nd century AD. Made of semi-opaque blue glass, it was made by pressing the glass into an open mould. It may be the goddess Juno & would have been a luxury item displayed in a public temple or a rich private sanctuary. The Metropolitan Museum of Art collection
