Huge thank you to @VUMCHlthEquity and the Lewis B. Lefkowitz Fund for the tremendous opportunity conducting primary research on rural hospital closures with TN Health Care Campaign. We believe our findings will inform future interventions to protect access to rural health care.

This is the hate that the TN House Republicans fosters from their positions of power in the General Assembly! I’m disgusted that Nazis are comfortable doing this but I am not surprised. Tragically, their views are shared by many who I serve alongside on the other side of the aisle.

Not going to lie, it’s hard to get my head around the concept of hoping Tennessee’s legislature will follow the lead of Mississippi. But here we are. By a huge margin the MS state house approved Medicaid expansion. The reason is really just math. And basic moral responsibility.

Incredible film on the devastating rural healthcare crisis and the heroes The Health Wagon doing everything they can to help. “Finances are the judge, jury, and executioner ” of rural lives. Hard-working Americans deserve healthcare. It’s time to pass Medicaid expansion Tennessee!

.President Donald J. Trump just called for capping out-of-pocket prescription costs for all Americans at $2,000 per year. I spent my career studying why people go bankrupt, and a top reason is health care costs. This action by President Biden would change the lives of millions of people.

Right now, Republicans in Congress are trying to push through a bill that would put millions of Americans at risk of losing their health care. They want to cut federal funding for Medicaid, take away tax credits that help more people afford coverage, and raise costs for working

More than 16 million Americans are at risk of losing their health care because Republicans in Congress are rushing to pass a bill that would cut federal funding for Medicaid and weaken the Affordable Care Act. If the House passes this bill, it will increase costs and hurt

Pete Buttigieg (@petebuttigieg) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Every Republican who promised their constituents they would never cut Medicaid - and broke that promise today - was lying the whole time. They deserve to lose power.
