Last week, I drove from the very south of France to Yorkshire. A few days later, I did the trip in reverse. That's a LOT of driving. However, it passed swiftly, thanks to bingeing on 20 or so The Rest Is History podcasts. Highly recommended for all travellers!

Only two weeks until our village VTT/MTB ride day. We had 150 riders from around the region last year. The whole place turns out to help. Here's one of the food stops - and yes, there was wine available. It IS France after all... :-)

I think about 2% of our village was playing boules near our house this evening. A narrow win for the boys in the boys vs girls 'adopt a foreigner' match.
