Emily Trujillo has been contributing to Futuros Ancestral,a NEA Fellowship project that has been awarded to Layne Jackson Hubbard and Emily through the TCA. Emily has been responsible for recording videos of traditional Rio Grande Weaving elements.

Emily Trujillo attended Taos Wools Festival,demonstrating for the Futuros Ancestral booth.She meet and engaged with her students enrolled in her remote learning program for Rio Grande weaving. Additionally, she also gave a lecture at Kit Carson Park about Rio Grande Weaving.

While at the Taos Wool Festival Emily Trujillo had the opportunity to display all of her current show pieces in one location. We're a fan of how much movement each piece brings not only individually, but also the movement that they each play against one another.
