In my discussion with Libyan Foreign Minister Mangoush, we exchanged about the recent political developments including the non-confidence motion passed in parliament yesterday. Belgium encourages all institutions to focus on the preparation of national elections in December 2021.

Discussed with Tunisia’s MFA Othman Jerandi our strong relations and regional & internal challenges. We wish the current political status quo to evolve in a positive way, in order to preserve the democratic aquis.
