According to Prof. Eva Hoffmann at #DNRF_centerofexcellence Center for Chromosome Stability, the usefulness and fairness of central recognition systems are quickly eroding: vimeo.com/612495691 Hoffmann_lab Center for Chromosome Stability Københavns Uni

Congratulations to CCS group leader Eva Hoffmann for becoming the acting Director of the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine (ICMM) at University of Copenhagen! We have no doubt that you'll do an outstanding job. 🎉🎉🥳🥳 ccs.ku.dk/news/congratul…

Big thanks to Carlsbergfondet for supporting the Miller and Toledo labs (Luis Toledo) with an infrastructure grant, which will help us to visualise the mechanisms of eukaryotic DNA replication. More details here: tinyurl.com/2wkz3rbh 🔬🧬🥳🎉

Great to see the MCM-DH +/-DDK structures are out! It was a pleasure to work with the fantastic Julia Greiwe and Costa lab The Francis Crick Institute on this project. Check out the paper NatureStructMolBiol to see how DDK targets loaded MCM helicases to promote activation of bidirectional DNA replication.

Congratulations to Thomas Miller, Hoffmann_lab, Katrine Schjoldager, Rebecca Miller and Kathleen Stewart-Morgan for being awarded grants in the 2022 Novo Nordisk Foundation Research Leader Programme (tinyurl.com/2ujcsy28)!

A fantastic opportunity to come and work with Mads Lerdrup, here at the Center for Chromosome Stability!

It's that time of the year again: Culture Night is on Friday (11/10). 'Experience DNA' in the #DNRF CCS mini-lab in the #UCPH Mærsk Tower, learn about #chromosomes and #cancer, and get hands-on with banana DNA! For more info: kulturnatten.dk. Danmarks Grundforskningsfond
