The $100,000 first-place prize at Grand Slam Track could be life-changing for Dylan Beard. He has no shoe sponsor and works at a Walmart in Atlanta. He won tonight’s 110m hurdles race with a Sam’s Club logo on his chest! (They made him a special racing kit)

I’m all in on what Grand Slam Track is doing. My only suggestion is incorporating a 4x4 to close out each Slam. One member on each team from short sprints, long sprints, long hurdles and short distance.

My LS-H Giants are in a battle with the vaunted JCC Huskies in the Section championship. Great to see LS-H w/ growing success the last 4 years under fellow SJU alum Jim Wagner.

LS-H QB went out injured early so a tough assignment became even harder. And who would’ve thought someone associated with what one person called a dying college program would help turn around a once proud HS program.
