It's here! The four film television event that was too violent for Italian TV in 1989 from Lucio Fulci and Umberto Lenzi gets a truly long-awaited deluxe treatment by Cauldron Films that surely is a physical media highlight. A perfect Halloween treat. DiabolikDVD.com

THE HOUSE OF CLOCKS (1989) is Fulci's wild made-for-TV horror, now lovingly restored on Blu-ray by Cauldron Films. It’s an attractively shot caper with a cool synth score and gore so outrageous that the film was shelved for years. Possibly his best film post-NY Ripper.

THE HOUSE OF LOST SOULS (1989) concerns a group of absolute fucking morons in a haunted hotel. Lenzi has to take the blame for his dreadful screenplay, but there's nice cinematography, a great score, and a ton of gory antics, including decapitation-by-washing-machine.
