So pleased this enthralling film is finally getting the notice it deserves

A weird thing about being from London is how people feel like it’s totally cool to enumerate the very many reasons they hate your hometown at you. It would be super rude if I went, “oh, you’re from Surrey? Here are all the reasons I think it’s shit.”

It's 3 years since I first saw Rose Plays Julie BFI London Film Festival & tonight tks to Curzon Bloomsbury I got to see it again. Still as powerful as I remembered, This cracking slow burn Thriller about identity & family is a must see & will go straight into my top films of 2021.

I saw the twisty thriller Rose Plays Julie HOME tonight and loved the representation and the way it plays with the concept of identity. It is mesmerising throughout and the time flies by. Clever and intriguing.

Rose Plays Julie plays out like a dream of a film; people coming to terms with the past and still trying to find themselves. Brilliantly acted and executed.
