AJNR WouterSchievink American Society of Spine Radiology (ASSR) A common source of error in spinal CSF leak is confusing lateral dural tears (illustrated here) and perineural diverticula (usually normal incidental findings). This paper very nicely illustrates the former. It is a key distinction to be made.
