Winter can be a difficult time - pressures of caring can be heightened by challenges of keeping warm, the costs of Christmas, and possible health challenges. Cumberland Council have released a leaflet with details of organisations who can provide support. cumberland.gov.uk/sites/default/…

In Cumberland, we have one of the country's highest rates of suicide. Cumberland Council and Liverpool John Moores University have released a survey to better understand why this is. Your comments will help them develop a suicide prevention plan. Take the survey here: bit.ly/3ZUS8F5

As we enter winter and the temperatures begin to drop, keeping warm can be another added stress for carers. Warm Spots offer a warm space, a warm welcome, someone to talk to if you wish, and, in most cases, a hot drink. Find you nearest Warm Spot here: bit.ly/3VKWrjX
