CARE is not new to educational equity, diversity and inclusion work. For 53 years CARE's purpose has been grounded in the supporting underrepresented students in thriving at FSU. Thank you to the faculty/staff that laid the foundation and the alumni that represent CARE so well!

CARE students represent 1,595 unique lived experiences and are enrolled in a variety of academic programs. CARE students are leaders, scholars, and change agents at FSU. CARE's commitment to the success of these students is personal to each member of the CARE staff.

Most people refer to CARE as the "CARE Program" which was probably more accurate in the early 2000s. However CARE has innovated and evolved over the past 22 years into a Center which has multiple programs and services. Join us in recognizing ALL of CARE's Programs.

CARE is proud to support students in high school explore higher education as an option through pre-collegiate programming. The Upward Bound Program is CARE's primary college access program supporting Gadsden County, FL. UB students are top scholars and narrative changers!

CARE Staff are the most committed members of the FSU Community. The staff want students to thrive during their time at FSU. The staff consists of CARE and FSU alums, First-Generation and Continuing Generation college graduates, and kind people. Find time to connect with them!
