In June 2018, at a player signing event, GM Mike Oke & HC Rob Wilson told me that Shawn Spearing would one day be Peterborough Petes Captain. An unusual thing to say about a 4th round pick on the day he signs as a 16 year-old. But wow, did they call it. Shawn Spearing, warrior.
