The first of 390 Black Tern records uploaded onto BirdTrack in Cornwall was on 18th August 1968, 5 birds around St Ives Bay/Hayle estuary. The Peak count is 67 observed on a seawatch at Pendeen which accounts for 66 of the 390 records. Most sightings are Aug/Sept/Oct. Cornwall Birds
