The hopefully incalf heifers are starting to get up to size. Like the grass - clover sward they are grazing it's been a year of playing catch-up

We had a very busy day at the Iverk show. Gail had a great day with Bobarsoap.ie Our Droimeann bull couldn't make it so we only had the friesain heifer out. Shannon & Toby both got a roseate each. Good to see some many young people interested in stock

A harvest of a different crop today. Trees my grandfather and father planted. Some of these will be milled, the more knotty sections for firewood. By taking them out we will let light down to hedge and native whitetorn and oak and increase biodiversity.
