In between games of the opening day doubleheader. Bruins win game 1 over the NM Conquistadors 16-8. Game 2 vs the Tucson White Sox starts at 12:30

Bruins win game 2 by a final count of 11-3. Off to Backyardz in Scottsdale for Green Monster burger. Stadium game tomorrow vs the Houston Gamblers

Bruins drop a tough one tonight in the stadium game 3-1 to the Houston Gamblers. The game was a scoreless affair until the 7th inning. Minnesota teams are 10-1 halfway through the 35+ tournament.

The 2024 AZ squad

Bruins rebound with a 6-5 win over the LA Charros. Time to get a break from the heat then a 6:30 game against the AZ Heat at Tempe Diablo 1

A slugfest happens between AZ Heat and the Bruins but fall short losing 14-10. One more game of pool play where we take on the Sonoma County Rebels at Fitch Park 10:00 game time.

The final day of pool play brings us to Fitch Park where another close game got away losing 3-2. Final record ended up being 3-3, awaiting other scores to determine our fate.

Final Pool Play Standings in Arizona. Fed represented well w/ first place finishes for Minnesota Lumberjacks ⚾️🪓🏜️ and Minnoka Grays. Those two teams earned a Bye. MNBruins worked there way in to a first round game vs Indy Heat. We will try to track down a bracket shortly. Good luck all! ⚾️

Bruins take care of business in the opening game of the Sunshine Classic defeating the St Louis Jays 4-2. Brandon Casa de Calvo notches the victory in game 1. Next up is a doubleheader for Friday vs the Lansing Braves at 9:00 then a 12:30 tilt vs the Baltimore Chop.

Game 2 took place with Cole Lambert getting the ⚾️. Cole went 3 innings then turning over to Jeremy Salden who notched the W then Jon Lipinski with the save. The game was a slugfest with a final of 15-13. Next up at 12:30 is the Baltimore Chop after a break from the heat.

Bruins are sitting at 3-0 after knocking off the Baltimore Chop 9-6. Jason Bujold threw a complete game and Isaac Wales had 3 hits with Mike Lewis also having a pair of doubles. Next up is another doubleheader on Saturday 9/22 9:00 vs Sewanhaka Indians and 12:30 vs Braves South.

Bruins keep up the winning ways but not without excitement. It was another slugfest that ended up being won on a sacrifice fly by Cruiseship then with 2 runners on two HBP for Wales and Duffy to win in walk-off fashion. Short break then the 4-0 Bruins play once more today.

Bruins run the table in pool play with a 5-0 record. Game 5 was a 9-5 win with Jeremy Laird tossing a complete game. Bruins will end up playing for the 4th straight year in the “Premier game” on Sunday morning which is the 2 teams with the best records that have not yet played.

And that’s a wrap! Bruins go 6-0 again finishing at the “top finisher” in the 2025 Sunshine Classic 35+ division defeating the So Florida Eagles 4-1. Brandon Casa de Calvo pitches a complete game allowing 1 run while striking out 5.
