Yesterday we fell agonisingly close to defeat against Alleyn Cricket Club. Batting first they made 156 in 36.2 overs. D ' j a n did majestically with figures of 8-2-26-5 and two run outs. We could only manage 133 in 42.3 overs. BW Kirk 21 (38), NJ Corbett 20 (38) & D ' j a n 20 (44).
