This week end crews travelled to West Ashland’s Fire Station to use the smoke house to practice our firefighting and breathing apparatus techniques. 🔥🚒

It was a busy 24 hours in Thames Valley. Our crew dealt with multiple incidents including a rescue from flood water in Marsh Gibbon, flooding affecting multiple houses in Tingewick, a flat fire in Banbury and an internal flooding in Murcott.

🔥Shout🔥 07/03 13:02 Fire in the open. This was a bonfire which had spread to some nearby conifer hedges and scaffolding storage. We worked with Aylesbury On-Call Firefighters who provided their water tanker. 1 Hose reel and 1 main jet used.

🚒 SHOUT 🚒 07/05 01:28 Crews attended a RTC on the M40 junction 10-9 where a LGV had left the carriage way. The crew assisted crews from OxonFireRescue in extricating the driver from the vehicle using our working platform.
