What a pleasure to meet Aliyana Koch-Manzur, one of the youngest delegates at the 2024 Democratic National Convention. Seeing young people stand up and get engaged in their communities fills me with hope for the next generation. Good luck with the roll call tonight!

The #DNC2024 is on and Chicago is putting on a show! My top priority is ensuring a safe and vibrant convention, but I also love promoting our city as a wonderful place to live, work, visit, and do business. Here are a few snaps from my convention so far, can’t wait for Night 2!

After meeting with one of the youngest delegates, today I had the pleasure of meeting with the oldest #DNC2024 delegate, Angie Gialorreto. We stand on the shoulders of amazing women like Angie and Aliyana, who exemplify the intergenerational movement behind Kamala Harris!

This whirlwind week has been an unforgettable celebration of our city, our values, and our party. And tonight, we get to formally nominate Kamala Harris to be the next president of the United States! I can’t wait!

Chicago was asked to host a safe, vibrant, and historic #DNC2024 – and Chicago delivered! Thank you to the thousands of people who worked tirelessly for months to make this a successful celebration of our party and our values. Now, onward to victory in November!
