Today we're in Boston visiting two community-based #EarlyLearningPrograms at Mission Grammar & BGCDorchester. The visits gave attendees the opportunity to observe UPK programs & learn about strong mixed-delivery partnerships w/ BostonPublicSchools BPS Early Learning. #ELTour2023

(1/3) Following site visits, the #ELTour2023 attendees heard a panel discussion this afternoon on "Building and Maintaining High-Quality UPK Programs in a Mixed-Delivery System - A Focus on Boston" at the BostonPublicSchools & BPS Early Learning Central Office.

(2/3) Panelists consisted of Early Learning experts from the Boston area moderated by Marie Enochty, Program Manager at BostonPublicSchools BPS Early Learning.

(3/3) Attendees also had the opportunity to join interactive breakout sessions on a variety of topics including: Mixed Delivery Partnerships and Expansion to Include Family Child Care, Supporting DLLs and Dual Immersion Programs, and more.

This morning we wrapped up the Boston leg of the #ELTour2023 w/ a site visit of Josiah Quincy Elementary School to observe/learn about their preschool inclusion classrooms & English as a second language supports.
