Great morning catching up with #mediation colleagues from near and far. Learnt a thing or two as well about the inner workings of zoom 👋🏻

In #mediation participants often start by playing the B.S.E game but by #listening to each other they can move on to taking personal responsibility both for their past actions and also the part they play in moving forward with the #winwin solution #everyonehasaparttoplay

What is your #fullstop ? Sometimes it is like a busman’s holiday for me to go from dealing with family conflicts all day to then dealing with my 2 children arguing over things like being in the same room together and breathing the same air 😂 but I do try to switch off!

Interesting thought on how #conflict escalates. #mediation is an invaluable tool in stopping the escalation and helping everyone understand each other #perspectives.

Our friend and colleague, Sally, sadly passed away last week. Sally had worked at #Bolton mediation for 4 years and Bolton Council for over 30 years. Her passion for #mediation and helping young people and their families shone through in all she did. We will miss her terribly 😢

It is lovely to be appreciated. We have a great relationship with @UCLanSocialWork and have offered social students placements for a number of years. I’ve been touched by this gift from one student who has recently finished their placement. We love being part of their journey
