@vertigay314 Bollywood Drafts Shah Shahid Pardesi Reviews Good episode. One bit of history. I believe that GrihPravesh starring Sanjiv Kumar, Shamila Tagore and Sarika predates Silsila and Arth, speaking of movies featuring extra-marital affairs. The director, Basu Bhattacharya made three *marriage* movies, each one being excellent.

Rohit Chadha @vertigay314 Bollywood Drafts Pardesi Reviews That’s incredible! Thanks for sharing. So fascinating how Hindi movies explored such topics decades ago, at a time when I doubt they were such openly discussed in every day society.

@vertigay314 Bollywood Drafts Shah Shahid Pardesi Reviews Also, Masoom, by Shekhar Kapoor, is another interesting movie from that era that is an adaptation of man, woman and child. The extra-marital affair is not a centerpiece, but its consequences are.

For No. 1, an original movie would’ve been better than a stolen one where the original creatives weren’t credited
