What a great day at Newark Book Festival - plenty of stalls and local authors to chat to. The bard will be having a rest tomorrow, but Robin Hood will be ready to direct you through the festival stalls instead 🏹
Hey Rendell Primary - we received this video earlier today. Do you know anything about it? 🤔 ⚔️
We'll be launching our new series of videos 'Pilgrim Churches - Where It All Began' very soon! Check out the fantastic trailer from Blue Kazoo 👇 Turn your sound on for the full impact! The National Lottery Heritage Fund Midlands & East Mayflower 400 UK BCH Bassetlaw Council @DiscoverGains
40 new Vikings and 18 new Saxons recruited from Rendell Primary school this afternoon. They’ve each learnt some Old Norse words, how to defend themselves during a Viking raid, and what happened at Lindisfarne ⚔️
Love these pictures. It can be tricky trying to gauge the reactions through a laptop screen, but I did my best to make it as physical and engaging as possible. Thank you Rendell Primary!
A new film series will tell the story of the people and places behind the #Mayflower Pilgrims, including the churches where they worshipped. Check out the series, which launches Thursday October 8, via Pilgrim Roots and Bassetlaw Museum #Mayflower400 theamerican.co.uk/pr/ne-Mayflowe…
Year 3 received a mysterious package today. Bjorn the Great has written us some letters and signed it with blood. He also sent us a gift for our clan leaders. Blue Kazoo

Excited to be featured on Nottingham Trent University website as a ‘showcase business’ during lockdown. The Big House has been a huge support over the past few months and helped create some lasting friendships and collaborations during this challenging year. ntu.ac.uk/about-us/news/…
Some great storytelling at Newark Castle today. Monk Adam is telling the story of the death of King John (1216).
It was good to be at Holgate Primary School this afternoon. Learning some Old Norse commands, using our Viking weaponry and preparing to battle the Saxons ⚔️
