Blacksburg DECA had the opportunity to sit in on a Virginia Tech AMA (American Marketing Association) meeting and practice our career development skills. Thank you to Virginia Tech AMA for helping prepare us for our State Leadership Conference this March in Virginia Beach! 💎💎

Our first social was a HUGE success!!🎉🍂Thanks to everyone who stayed after school to learn more about DECA and play games with us! 😁 We loved getting to see everyone, new and old. Great things are in store for our chapter this year! 🌟🔷

Our first club day was a blast!! We shared some of our early stand out members 🔷, talked about upcoming events, and got to enjoy some delicious DECA donuts! 🍩🍩 It was great to see members old and new. 😁

Our chapter volunteered for a local project to help pack bags of food for children in our community! Thankful for everyone involved to make our Micah’s Backpack night a success! 🤍

2025 Curriculum Night with Blacksburg Middle School was a success!! Our officer team had the opportunity to talk to rising high schoolers about what the marketing department, DECA, and Bear Necessities has to offer! We also had the joy of partnering with Snap Happy Photo Booth! 🌟🌟
