Not only have BrewDog ditched their commitment to pay workers a Real Living Wage during a cost-of-living crisis, they’re also spinning this real-terms pay cut as an ‘increase’. What they actually mean is that workers outside London will only be paid the legal minimum wage.

James Watt has written to BrewDog workers to attack the media for reacting negatively to their abandonment of the real living wage, committing to return to paying it “as soon as we can. But that time isn’t now.” This is a company that has just announced expansion to 200+ venues
