A new study by Trades Union Congress has laid bare the plight of young workers in the UK, with precarity and poverty pay being shockingly prevalent. We want to hear from young workers about how this affects their lives, and we're here to help if you want to push for better terms at work.

At 10am we launched a national petition via Megaphone UK calling on BrewDog to reverse its decision to abandon the real living wage. In the time it took us to post about this, 3600 people have supported it. In 24 minutes. This is going to be massive!

Not only have BrewDog ditched their commitment to pay workers a Real Living Wage during a cost-of-living crisis, they’re also spinning this real-terms pay cut as an ‘increase’. What they actually mean is that workers outside London will only be paid the legal minimum wage.

James Watt has written to BrewDog workers to attack the media for reacting negatively to their abandonment of the real living wage, committing to return to paying it “as soon as we can. But that time isn’t now.” This is a company that has just announced expansion to 200+ venues
