It’s fundamentally dishonest to call Kavanaugh’s accurate recounting of decades of precedent “the Kavanaugh stop.” Activist reporters whine that SCOTUS isn’t explaining obvious emergency docket smackdowns, and then punish justices who take the time to write those explanations.
