Totally consistent with our observation in mice islets - newly synthesized insulin are preferentially secreted in glucose clamping situations. Congratulations!

Just woke up to the news that our JBC paper on sorting insulin granules by age made it to the “Best of 2020” list. As the first project we started from scratch and my first successful NHMRC project grant in the Kebede Lab this means a lot to me personally. jbc.org/best-of-2020
