Meet Jonathan the Tortoise. He lived through the coronation of Queen Victoria, the confederation of Canada, the American Civil War, & the First & Second World War. He currently lives on St. Helena, where Napoleon Bonaparte died 11 years before he was born, around 1832.

We're back at #Paralympics2024 at the Stade de France. Arpad & I are in with a good chance of winning gold in the Wet Fur competition - it's pouring! 🤣 😱 🐾 🇫🇷

It's another teddy day trip to Brussels! We love the bear sized double espressos in the cafe at Brugge station ☕️ 🐻 🇧🇪

Arpad & I met Jacques Brel the other day in Brussels.

Clever Mr Polar has found FOUR strawberry tarts! He's quite a large bear, but I'm sure even he couldn't eat all of these? 🍓 🐾 👀

Arpad & I were planning to attend Emergency Teds© 🇺🇦 Prof W's LOB clinic, but we appear to have ended up at Brugge Beer Festival instead. Cheers! 🍻 🐻 🇧🇪

Us bears LOVE our new life in Brugge, but tonight's the first Last Night of the Proms that we've NOT attended since 2007, so it's a little bit emotional 😥 #LNOP

Today Arpad & I had a great time at the Zwin Natuur Park, in Knokke, right on the Dutch border. We were pleased to meet some of the inhabitants - they were very friendly & happy to meet some bears 🤣 🐻

The café at Zwin Natuur Park is excellent. They serve tasty, strong coffee in bear sized cups, with top quality snacks on the side! ☕️ 🐻

We also attended the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition. We saw last year's at the Natural History Museum in London, with Milly the Mammoth. We'd no idea that we'd see the 2024 exhibition at Zwin Natuur Park in Knokke! As always, it was brilliant.

Later, we went to look at the Zwin estuary. That's the Netherlands, just over the water behind us! 🇳🇱

Our final stop was Cadzand-Bad, the most southerly point on the Dutch coast. The skies were getting a bit dramatic but we enjoyed our walk on the beach. Overall it was a great day out!

After his lunchtime session, Grumpus Bear's now sitting outside his next PUB, which opens at 4pm. He'll be first in - again! This time he's brought Lenny Bear for company, & to cheer him up. 😂 🐻 🍻 🇧🇪

Harriet Bear's found two 'Merveilleux' - yummy chocolate, cream & meringue pies. I wonder should we tell Humphrey Bear before it's too late? 🤔 🐾
