7.30 - Before heading off to a 10 hour rehearsal day, she volunteered an hour at our school's Jump Start program, helping some of our incoming 6th graders get acclimated to middle school!

8.1 - "I'm too sweaty and tired for this, Mom!" And that's today's pic. P.S. she hasn't stopped talking about how awesome rehearsal was since she got in the car....too tired....whatever... 🤣 She gets to howl backstage now.... this is exciting news!!

8.2 - Opening night of Beauty and the Beast!! That's my little spoon up there!! Never been so proud of cutlery before!! 3 more shows this weekend!

8.3 - Two show day for this beauty today! If you haven't had a chance to see it, it's such a great show! Tonight at 7, and tomorrow at 2! P.S. thanks Sandy (Nana) for helping with her skirt!

8.4 - Final performance! No place I would rather spend my birthday! Love watching you do your thing on the stage, baby girl!

8.5 - I've tried to avoid making her come help in my room so far summer, but we have reached a point where it is her help is a necessity. At least today's trip came with play time with this sweet face! Blayre brought Phoebe up to play!

8.6 - Dance practice, voice lesson, and some time at school getting ready for her 8th grade year!!

8.7 - She babysat all day at the school, and then Matt took her for a date to get some new shoes, dinner, ice cream, and a stop at her favorite store!

8.8 - One last volleyball open gym before school volleyball tryouts next week!

8.9 - It's so fun that she actually wants to help decorate my new room! Spent several hours up there today, and had a couple other dance team girls come up to help too! It's getting there!

8.10 - We haven't been to music bingo at Johnny's all summer. We fixed that problem tonight! Yes, she stands/dances the whole time.

8.11 - Winding down our summer with a slow day just being together. We did get outside for a bit in between house chores.

8.12 - After she got bored cleaning in my room, I said she could go draw on my board...I was thinking pictures.... but no, she started doing math...for fun... Then, she proceeded to tell me about it. I didn't remember asking about it.... #notmykid #keeplovingmathbaby

8.13 - Helped with the 6th grade 1/2 day today! One more sleep until 8th grade!

8.14 - Last first day of middle school! 8th grade, here we go!
