Happy Independence Day- our 247th Year! Personally on this day, I recall all the sacrifices that have built our nation. I also look ahead and remember how important cooperation and compromise and finding common ground are to our democracy and our future as the UNITED States.

Today is my last day in the office. It is bittersweet. THANK YOU B-C-S for welcoming me and working with me for 11 great years as your superintendent. It has been the honor of a lifetime! I know the best days for B-C-S are yet to come.
