$CENX > “New surge of interest” in Hawesville 500 MW facility (would’ve preferred a deal announced) > Got $75m Sec45X credit > Spot EBITDA in Q4 increases $45-220m! > Supreme Court tariff case not applicable to aluminum Sec 232

This would pretty much guarantee a SCOTUS date focused on the basic issue of whether the CFTC has jurisdiction here at all $DKNG. When it’s all said and done either we have nationwide legalized sports betting or Kalshi and Polymarket are ☠️ for sports.

For my tariff homies, the one-way ratchet problem (Congress can't get back this power once delegated) and the donut hole problem (why would Congress delegate a great power (to ban) but not the lesser (to tax)) are ways of reading an ambiguous text: IEEPA's "regulate" language).

Lots of confusion over which N.A. metal producers will be affected by SCOTUS ruling against IEEPA. Canada/U.S. metals tariffs are 232, not IEEPA. Century Aluminum $CENX - 232 beneficiary, will continue to benefit. Algoma Steel $ASTL - 232 loser, no relief incoming.

So $SOC buys itself another ~6 - 10 months but if the mooted capital requirements for OST are accurate still massively risky. All in bet on pulling out the legal case for a pipeline?

Trump will always embarrass the🤡 that think he has some kind of grand plan or governing philosophy. He is highly susceptible to manipulation through flattery and bribery. He just spent time w/ Xi who was surely coached on this.
