Bitty tiny Phyllops falcatus! Such an extreme flat face (and cool teeth). This particular one will contribute the genome Bat1k Genome Project Bat Biology Foundation 🦇 and delivers his species secrets!
Bats are a part of urban wildlife. These northern and Daubenton's bats are hibernating in the underground structures of Helsingin kaupunki Our member, Tanya Troitsky, studies the structure of the skin microbiome in hibernating bats. Cool stuff! 🥶Life Sciences University of Helsinki Luomus
First fieldwork from isem 🤩 with the support of Bat Biology Foundation 🦇🦇🦇 we will catch bat species that are not sequenced yet and advance our research on bat teeth diversification! Bat1k Genome Project #bat #genome
