I think we figured out the winning formula for 12u. Great point guard play..diamond half court press in to a trapping 1-3-1 zone and at least 2 14 year olds on the team!! 😂

Hot take.. kids leave your basketballs at home at tournaments!! There is plenty!! Do you really want Mom and Dad pissed at you on the ride home for losing another one!!

Got to love a kid playing 1 half 12U.. dominating.. then playing with the 13u in the 2nd half!! AAU at its finest!!

Coaches.. we need to speak better to the kids we coach at the youth level!! Is it ok to call a 10, 11 or 12 year old a pu**y or they need to f**king play harder?? I was embarrassed by what I heard being spoken to kids!! We can do better and should!!

The problem is not too many “AAU” teams.. in my humble opinion it’s sandbagging. Teams/programs can play “down” winning a lower level tournament beating teams by 60 is not a good weekend.. but it’s now celebrated! Playing up..getting battle tested needs to come back soon!

🔥 Take.. you could fix 2 major travel/AAU issues if you 100 % confirm age ( no hold backs or cheating) and if your team won a lower bracket.. they can’t play that division again!!

“Travel “ basketball coaches.. can we please start looking the part?? Please.. NO Jeans, backpacks on, sun glasses, croc’s or filp flops, backwards hats, or headphones on while coaching a game!!
