Last Friday, our Executive Director, Peter Badimak YARO , joined a #WorldMentalHealthDay2025 forum by the MHA Ghana & World Health Organization (WHO) to discuss integrating mental health support during catastrophes and emergencies.
Maternal mental health is a growing public health concern. With support from UK in Ghana 🇬🇧🇬🇭, we're working with national stakeholders to adapt screening tools & training materials to strengthen health systems to deliver equitable care for pregnant women & girls.
With support from UNDP Climate -AFCIA, we organized a training in the N/R for 216 Self-Help Group members, among which 136 were women in dry-season organic vegetable gardening. The training supports savings, access to small loans, & stronger financial resilience. UNDP Ghana
