If someone uses Sarai/Sirai name in Punjab it meant that a "native of Sindh" as the royal Sirai Family of Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan also called themselves Sarai's.

Both Kalhoras, and Talpurs were also called Sirai (Man of Upper Sindh) in Lower Sindh.
