A huge thank you to all who attended our Easter Eggstravaganzer yesterday in the Jubilee Hall. The weather prevented the fair from setting up on the park but there was plenty of activities in the Jubilee Hall for the children to enjoy.

Fun was had by all who attended our Halloween Disco on Saturday. With Free cakes, drinks and biscuits, as well as Free face painting the evening was a huge success. Thank you to Lord Bryan Mobile DJ for the sounds and Zoe for the Facepainting it was spooktacular.

Remembrance Sunday Parade is 12th November 2023 starting at the junction of Byron Street and Kirkby Road at 10:30am to arrive at the War Memorial at 10:45am. Everyone is invited to attend.

Barwell Cemetery Groundsman’s Shed was broken into last night – if anyone noticed anything please contact the Parish Office. Thankfully nothing was taken but significant damage was done to the roof and toilets. This incident has been reported to the Police.

Thankyou to everyone who came to our Barwell By The Sea event on Saturday. Special thanks to Wheatleys event catering and amusements, stall holders who attended, our amazing facepainter who was kept busy all day and Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service at least it didn’t rain.

Not content with chopping a tree down in Kirkby Park they have now sawn a bench in Barwell (Tip) Park. If anyone has any information please do get in touch with the Parish Council or the Police. This is mindless vandalism and should not be tolerated.
